How to create a Store Item

Location: admin panel > module tab > edit/create your "DonationCraft" module > shop manager tab.

Start by clicking the green "Add Item" button at the top right of the "Shop Manager" tab in your DonationCraft or Generic Store module . Select normal item. You will be taken to the create new item page.

Options & Explanations
  • Name: Set the name of this item. Keep it short and unique to avoid confusion for your users.
  • Description: Describe your item. What does it do? Is it part of a series of items? This is your chance to convince users that they are getting the most bang for their buck!
  • Category: This is where you pick from your current categories/subcategories where the item will go by default. You can change this later on at any time without going into an item's settings directly - just drag and drop the item to a new category using its handle icon.
  • Price: Set the price here. Remember that your item will sell for real life currency.
  • Stock limit: You can set how much stock is available for an item. Especially useful for real, physical items. Each purchase will subtract 1 from the stock. When an item reaches 0 stock, users will get an "Out of Stock!" message, and the item will no longer be possible to buy.
  • Who can view this item: This list uses user tags to determine who is able to view (And subsequently buy) this item. Make sure that some users can view your item... otherwise it'll never sell!
  • Required items to purchase this item: This is another list, which sets whether or not a user can buy this item based on their purchase history. This is useful if you want certain items to be exclusively available only to users who have already purchased (or been given) things like membership tiers.
  • User must have all items listed purchased: Pretty self explanatory. Check this box if the user must have ALL of the listed items owned/purchased before they can buy this item.
  • Expires in: Set how many days this item's effects will last for.
  • User Limit: You can limit the number of times a single user can buy this item. You can set limits via the user's Enjin profile (website profile) or their Minecraft username (If you run a Minecraft store). You should have a user limit in conjunction with the "Who can view this item" option, as this will prevent users from spamming new accounts to get around purchase limits.
  • If user purchases item again then: The two options for this setting are only important if this is an item with temporary effects. You can choose to have additional purchases reset an expiration to its full, or to add to the current days remaining.
  • Minimum price after cumulative discount: Ensures that this item will be sold for the minimum amount listed, even if the user buys multiple items in its category and accrues cumulative discounts before making this purchase. Check the Cumulative Discounts section for more information on this.
  • Website Access Tags: This section sets how this item will affect user tags for buyers. Click on each field to bring up a list of your user tags, which can then be clicked to add them to the specified event.
  • After purchase commands is self explanatory - the item will run these effects the moment a user buys it.
If you do not know what Charge-back is, then it warrants explanation - a charge-back occurs when a user attempts to charge your store after making a purchase, in a way which refunds the cost. You can choose to penalize users for charge-backs or simply undo the effects of their purchase.
  • Custom Options: This button allows you to add variables to a store item. Read more about variables in the Variables section.
